The Golden State Pathways Program (GSPP) expands access to high-quality, industry-aligned college and career pathways that prepare students for postsecondary education, credentials, and high-wage careers. Designed to strengthen academic and career technical education (CTE) integration, the program supports districts in building coherent pathways that lead to measurable student outcomes.

Through regional collaboration with higher education, employers, and workforce partners, GSPP increases access to dual enrollment, industry-recognized certifications, work-based learning, and early college credit opportunities. The program is designed to improve graduation rates, expand college and career readiness indicators, and increase the number of students completing pathways connected to high-demand sectors.

By aligning education with labor market needs, GSPP helps ensure students graduate with both a diploma and a clear, achievable plan for college, career, or apprenticeship.
