K12 SWP Regional Projects and Initiatives

The K–12 Strong Workforce Program (K12 SWP) is a state-funded initiative that strengthens career technical education (CTE) pathways aligned to high-demand, high-wage regional workforce needs. Through strategic partnerships between K–12 districts, community colleges, industry, and workforce agencies, the program expands access to high-quality career pathways that prepare students for college, career, and industry-recognized credentials.

Funding supports pathway development, equipment modernization, work-based learning, dual enrollment, and employer engagement—ensuring students gain relevant skills and real-world experience that lead to strong postsecondary and career outcomes.
