The Chief Science Officers (CSOs) Program is an international initiative that equips students to be leaders who amplify STEM awareness, innovation, and student voice. Each CSO develops an Action Plan that brings peers, educators, and community partners together to create meaningful STEM opportunities.
The California Chapter, led by OCDE, supports students with advisor guidance, leadership training, digital collaboration tools, and mentorship from STEM professionals—connecting them to a global network of CSOs making an impact in their schools and communities.
